Understanding how form fields display user input
Form fields display exactly what someone types into them, without validation or modification.
This is applicable to all Senja plans: Free, Starter, and Pro.
When someone fills out your form
Fields show whatever they enter, even if it doesn't match the field type
Required fields don't validate the content—only that something was entered
Someone can type an email address into a name field, or vice versa
The data in your Proof page reflects submissions exactly as entered.
This gives respondents flexibility to provide information in the format that works for them.
Editing the content
Follow the guide How do I edit a testimonial? in some cases where an edit is needed, for example:
Your customer reaches out and ask for an edit on the testimonial
You spot typo or wrong mentioning of your product or your company name
Make sure that you get a written consent from your customer when you make any changes that are not requested by your customer.
