How do I change the owner of my project?

Transferring project ownership to another Senja account requires contacting our Support team. This ensures proper account and billing security during the transfer.

This is applicable for paid plan (Starter and Pro).

Common transfer scenarios

  • Moving to a free account: You can transfer a project from a paid account to a free account, and the project will be subject to free plan limits after transfer

  • Inactive email address: If the current owner's email is no longer active, provide a proof of ownership and they'll help transfer the project

  • Changing account types: Ownership transfers work across different account types (free to paid, paid to free, etc.)

How to transfer project ownership

To request a project ownership transfer:

  • Contact Senja Support team

  • Provide these information:

    • The project name

    • The email address of current owner

    • The email address of the new owner

    • A Support agent will process the transfer and confirm when it's complete

The new owner must have an existing Senja account. If they don't have one yet, ask them to sign up at senja.io before requesting the transfer.
