Can I restore a deleted form and its testimonials?
No — deleted forms and testimonials cannot be restored. Senja performs hard deletes, meaning when a form or testimonial is deleted, it's permanently removed from the database along with all related data (customer records, form responses, translations, etc.). There's no soft-delete, trash, or archive mechanism.
This is applicable for all Senja plans: Free, Starter, and Pro.
What to do instead
If you've accidentally deleted a form or testimonials:
Recreate the form: Build a new form with similar settings and share it with your customers
Ask customers to resubmit: Reach out to the customers whose testimonials were deleted and invite them to submit again
Check imports: If the testimonials were originally imported from platforms like G2, Shopify, or Yelp, you may be able to re-import them
Prevention tips
To avoid accidental deletions:
Double-check which form you're working with before deleting
Clearly name duplicate forms before deleting the original
Export important testimonials for backup using the HD export feature
Deletion is permanent. Both forms and individual testimonials are permanently deleted. Always verify before confirming any deletion action.
