Plans and bIlling

What happens if my recurring payment fails?

When a recurring payment fails, Stripe automatically retries charging your card several times over a period of days. If all retry attempts fail, your subscription is automatically canceled and you'll lose access to paid features.

Update your payment method as soon as you receive a failed payment notification to avoid service interruption.

Automatic retries

Stripe makes multiple attempts to charge your card over several days. You'll receive email notifications about failed attempts, giving you time to update your payment information before cancellation.

After cancellation

If all retries fail, your subscription is canceled immediately. You'll be downgraded to the free plan, and any features exclusive to paid plans will become unavailable.

Once canceled, you may not be able to resubscribe at your old price. For details, see Can I reactivate my subscription at the old price?

Resubscribing

You can upgrade to a paid plan anytime from your Billing page in the Senja dashboard.
