Chrome Only Downloads the First Video

This is the most common issue when downloading multiple videos. Chrome blocks multiple file downloads by default for security reasons.

Quick Fix

  1. Open Chrome Settings

    • Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner

    • Select "Settings"

  2. Navigate to Site Settings

    • Click "Privacy and security" in the left sidebar

    • Click "Site Settings"

  3. Find Automatic Downloads

    • Scroll down and click "Automatic downloads"

  4. Allow Multiple Downloads

    • Toggle "Sites can ask to automatically download multiple files" to Allowed

    • Or add "app.senja.io" to the allowed list

  5. Restart Chrome and try downloading again

Getting CSV Files Instead of MP4 Videos

If you're downloading CSV files when you expect video files, you're using the wrong export feature.

To Download Videos (MP4 Files)

  1. Method 1: Bulk Video Download

    • Filter testimonials by "Video" type first

    • Select the video testimonials you want

    • Click "Export" — this downloads the video files

  2. Method 2: Individual Video Download

    • Go to a customer's testimonial page

    • Click "Share"

    • Click "Download videos"

Downloading Multiple Videos from One Testimonial

When customers answer multiple questions with separate video responses, you can download all videos at once.

Steps to Download All Videos

  1. Navigate to the customer's testimonial page

  2. Click the Share button

  3. Click Download videos

  4. Wait for all videos to download sequentially (this may take several minutes)

If Only Some Videos Download

  • Enable multiple downloads in Chrome (see section above)

  • Ensure stable internet connection

  • Try downloading from a different browser

General Download Troubleshooting

Downloads Not Starting

  1. Check browser download settings

    • Ensure downloads aren't blocked

    • Check if download location has enough space

  2. Clear browser cache and cookies

    • Go to Chrome Settings → Privacy and security → Clear browsing data

    • Select "Cached images and files" and "Cookies"

  3. Disable browser extensions

    • Ad blockers or security extensions may interfere

    • Try downloading in incognito/private mode

Downloads Fail or Get Corrupted

  1. Check internet connection stability

    • Large video files need consistent connection

    • Try downloading during off-peak hours

  2. Try a different browser

    • Firefox, Safari, or Edge as alternatives

    • Sometimes browser-specific issues occur

  3. Download one video at a time

    • For large testimonials, download individually

    • Reduces chance of connection timeouts

Download Button Missing

  • Refresh the page — the interface may need to reload

  • Check testimonial type — ensure it's actually a video testimonial

  • Verify permissions — some account types may have restrictions
