How do I change the owner of my project?
Transferring project ownership to another Senja account requires contacting our support team. This ensures proper account and billing security during the transfer.
Project ownership transfers are handled manually by support to protect account security and billing information.
How to transfer project ownership
To request a project ownership transfer:
Contact the Senja support team via the chat widget or email
Provide the name of the project you want to transfer
Provide the email address of the new owner's Senja account
Confirm the current owner's email address
A support agent will process the transfer and confirm when it's complete.
The new owner must have an existing Senja account. If they don't have one yet, ask them to sign up at senja.io before requesting the transfer.
Common transfer scenarios
Moving to a free account: You can transfer a project from a paid account to a free account. The project will be subject to free plan limits after transfer.
Inactive email address: If the current owner's email is no longer active, contact support with proof of ownership and they'll help transfer the project.
Changing account types: Ownership transfers work across different account types (free to paid, paid to free, etc.).
