How to delete testimonials
Deleting testimonials keeps your Proof page tidy, for example when a customer asks to be removed, a testimonial is out of date, or you're clearing out test submissions. You can delete one testimonial or many at once.
This is available on all Senja plans: Free, Starter, and Pro. You need to be an Owner, Admin, or Editor to delete testimonials.
Deleting is permanent. Senja has no trash or archive, and deleted testimonials can't be recovered.

Unapprove it instead
Unapproved testimonials can't be used in widgets, Walls of Love, or other Studio assets, but they stay on your Proof page
Deleting a lot at once?
Export them to CSV first so you have a backup
Delete one testimonial
Go to your Proof page: https://app.senja.io/
Click the testimonial you want to delete
On the customer page, click Delete
Delete several testimonials at once
Go to your Proof page: https://app.senja.io/
Select the testimonials you want to delete - there are three ways to do it:
Pick them one by one: tick the checkbox next to each testimonial
Filter first: click Filter, set your filters, then tick the checkbox next to Filter to select everything shown
Select everything: tick the checkbox next to Filter without any filters on
A toolbar appears at the bottom showing how many you've selected
Click the red Delete button (trash icon)
Click Delete to confirm, or Cancel to go back
The select-all checkbox only selects testimonials loaded on screen. Scroll down to load more, then select those too.
On the Free plan, deleting testimonials doesn't free up your 15-testimonial limit.
Deleted something by mistake?
Deleted testimonials can't be restored. Here's what you can do instead:
Ask the customer to send it again: You can offer a reward to say thanks
Import it again: If it originally came from a platform like G2, Shopify, or Yelp, you may be able to re-import it
Re-upload your backup: If you exported a CSV before deleting, upload it again, see Can I import testimonials in bulk?
Deleted a whole form?
Deleting a form does not delete the testimonial collected through it. See Can I restore a deleted form and its testimonials?
