This guide will help you understand and act on the engagement metrics you see in your Social Proof Studio. By the end of this article, you'll be able to analyze your data and take concrete steps to improve your social proof's performance.
Note: The "engagement audit" is not a formal feature in Senja. It's the term we use for reviewing the engagement metrics of your Widgets and Walls of Love in the Social Proof Studio.
Understanding Your Engagement Metrics
To see your engagement metrics, go to the Social Proof Studio and click on the "Saved" tab. Here's what each metric means:

Plays The number of times someone started viewing your video in the last 30 days. Play Rate The rate at which your widget was played with in the last 30 days. Actionable Steps to Improve Engagement
Here are some steps you can take to improve your engagement metrics:
A/B Test Your Widgets: Create different versions of your widgets with different testimonials, layouts, and calls-to-action to see what performs best.
Optimize Your Wall of Love: Curate your Wall of Love to showcase your best testimonials. Make sure your CTAs are clear and compelling.
Improve Video Content: If you're using video testimonials, make sure they are high-quality and engaging. Consider adding captions to your videos.
Placement is Key: Ensure your widgets are placed in high-traffic areas of your website where they are likely to be seen by potential customers.
Pro Tip: Use the filtering options on your widgets to display the most relevant testimonials to your visitors. For example, you can filter testimonials by product, service, or location.
Troubleshooting
If your metrics aren't updating, it could be due to a caching issue. Try clearing your browser's cache or excluding Senja's widget URL (https://widget.senja.io/*) from your caching system.
